If you have real estate properties in Quezon City, I suggest you read this to make sure they are not on the list of tax delinquent properties that will be for sale through public auction this coming April 2012. The Office of the Treasurer of Quezon City has just published a notice of public auction for Quezon City tax delinquent real properties.
This is by virtue of the provisions of Sections 260 and 263 of RA 7160, otherwise know as the Local Government Code of 1991. The public auction will be the held on April 12, 2012, 10:00am, at the Ground Floor, Taxpayer’s Assessment and Payment Lounge, City Hall Complex, Quezon City, Philippines.

Quezon City real property tax payers can get 20% discount before March 31, 2012
In related news, Quezon City real property tax payers can get a very significant 20% discount on their annual real property taxes if payments are made before March 31, 2012.

Hi Edwardson, if you are looking for the cheapest, then you might find some in the tax delinquent properties auctions but you need to keep in mind that they come with a one year redemption period.

Hi Jonick,
For tax foreclosure auctions, the only payment term is cash, usually payable on the day of the auction itself. The tax delinquent properties can be redeemed for 1 year. Winning bidders in return will get 2% interest per month up when the property is redeemed.
Sorry I did not include this in the post because I wrote this primarily as a reminder for the concerned taxpayers to settle their real property tax arrears so their properties will not be included in the auction.

Related po ang question ko sa reply nyo kay Jonick, may mga properties po aking nakita particularly dito po sa Manotok Subdivision and Jojo Street. Interado po ako. Papano po ba ang dapat gawin sa auction. Wala na po bang habol ang lot owner kung nakasali sa bidding at may makakuha sa property nya?
