A Better Valentine’s Day Gift: Real Property at up to 50% Discount

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today is as good a day as any to love and feel loved. Love is a great feeling that makes us feel alive. No matter what happens, there is always someone who loves us (who else but God?).

Anyway, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts of pictures of flowers, chocolates, special dates, and personally-cooked breakfasts that show how much someone loves another. That fleeting kilig moment was indeed captured forever by pictures but you have to admit, after a few days, the flowers will be withered, and the food eaten (and excreted, eew). Why not give something that lasts for years and may even appreciate?

Why is real estate a great Valentine’s Day gift?

First of all, shelter is a basic need. Everybody needs a house in which to sleep in, whether you own the property or not. Which would you rather be – the owner of the house you use, the lessor, or the renter?

I remember the story of our friend, Maves Angeles that she shared at The Feast. She recalled that when she was young, her family had to move around 15 times because they were always forced to leave their house since they didn’t own it. That experience was so traumatic for her, but she used such experience to her advantage and thus, she is now a seller of properties.

Another reason why real estate is a great Valentine’s Day gift is that when you own property, it shows that you have a plan for your life. A part of the money you earned is being put in a long-term investment. You may rent it out, or you may just be preparing for a home for your future or current family.

I’m sure that as between two suitors who are both good, the one who has a house would be favored by the parents of the girl one is wooing. If you are a girl, you may buy a property for yourself and won’t need anyone to provide that for you! Yay for empowered women!

Real properties at up to 50% discount

Everybody loves a bargain and buying properties at up to 50% off will be sure to give anyone a natural high. This is why a lot of people search for foreclosed properties in our database, looking for bargains.

Let me give you one example. Rosalina Dela Cruz is now a proud owner of a property at Citihomes Dasmariñas in Cavite. With the help of a BFS Sales Specialist, she was able to process the required documents quickly and smoothly and is now a happy homeowner.

Just to give you an idea, one can buy a house for as low as P150,000. Of course, you need to exercise due diligence before purchasing any property, and be ready with the basics every personal finance advocate pushes for – emergency funds, insurance, etc.

If you’re interested to search from more than 2,200 properties, click here. BFS, one of our partners, has properties in developed subdivisions in areas like Muntinlupa, Laguna, Cavite, Caloocan, Bulacan, and Pampanga.

Even if you’re not yet ready to buy now, it’s totally okay to just look around. Nurture a dream of owning your own home or having your own real estate investment, pray and work hard for it, and one day, I believe very soon, it will come true.
