We take a breather from the usual listings of foreclosed real estate and give way to this list of foreclosed cars for sale from AMA Bank. The opening of the sealed bids for these foreclosed or repossessed cars will be on July 23, 2010, Friday, 2:00pm. Bids should be submitted before 10:00am on the same day.

The repossessed cars can be inspected at their warehouse at Octagon Avenue, corner F. Mariano Avenue., Brgy Dela Paz, Pasig City, Philippines. Don’t forget to bring a trusted mechanic when you inspect these cars, which is the proactive thing to do whenever buying second hand cars like these.

I made a quick phone call to AMA Bank and found out that all of the repossessed cars for sale are in running condition,  and you can even start them during your inspection. Furthermore, one can already submit their bids at the warehouse.

Here’s another listing of bank repossessed cars for sale from RCBC Savings Bank’s “Great deals on used wheels” pre-owned car sale. This sale runs from May 10 to 14, 2010 in their Pasig and Pampanga warehouses. Financing is available and the second hand cars can be purchased for as little as 20% downpayment plus low interest rates.

One thing I like about this listing of second hand vehicles repossessed by RCBC Savings Bank is they already included the minimum downpayment and monthly amortization for most of the repossessed vehicles on the list. I recently found this listing of AMA Bank repossessed cars for sale. What struck me was this list of of repossessed cars includes cars with a minimum bid price of  Php50K, which is very cheap, considering that one of these is a 1996 Volvo 960 with automatic transmission. Of course, there must be an underlying reason why these foreclosed cars are so cheap, and the most obvious in this case is that they are more than 10 years old.

If you are interested in buying any of these second hand cars, you better do your due diligence and verify their physical and legal condition. In relation to this, my friend Tyrone of Millionaire Acts recently came out with a very interesting article about repossessed cars and his article includes pointers on buying repossessed cars from banks, which should come in handy. This is an updated listing of United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) repossessed cars for sale. Do take note that the deadline for submission of bids for these second hand cars is on March 24, 2010 at 4:00pm and opening of sealed bids shall follow at 4:30pm.

I highly suggest that interested parties call up UCPB directly to get more details like  the bidding procedure, payment terms, financing options, etc., and ensure these are acceptable before inspecting these UCPB repossessed cars. Pardon me if I may have been bombarding you with a lot of listings of repossessed cars for sale from a number of banks lately. It just so happens that a bunch of them came out this week and the deadlines for the submission of bids are already next week so I really need to post them here quickly. I’m also quite sure that there are lots of people out there searching for bargain second hand used cars and I really hope that by posting these listings of repossessed cars here, I am able to help in my own little way.

Anyway, this is the last one I will post (for now) as this is the last one remaining. This list of repossessed vehicles is from United Coconut Planter’s Bank (UCPB).

I saw this listing in last Sunday’s copy of the Manila Bulletin and also at UCPB’s website when I was searching for updated listings of foreclosed properties. Last year, I wasn’t able to buy any of the bargain foreclosed properties (yes, there were a lot of them) from UCPB as described in my post about pre-auction bids – another lesson learned and I don’t want to miss the same opportunity this year. This is why I am keeping a close watch for any new listings of UCPB foreclosed properties. I have observed that they (UCPB) only conduct auctions of foreclosed properties once a year.

Before I digress too much, please see below the complete list of UCPB repossessed cars for sale. One item that caught my eye was a 2008 Toyota Vios 1.3E being sold for only Php 415, 800.

The cheapest 2008 Toyota Vios 1.3E with manual transmission that I was able to find at sulit.com.ph was being sold for Php490,000. So does that make this repossessed Vios a bargain? It depends on the physical and legal condition of the car. I also noticed that the mileage for this particular car was stated as “not seen” on the list below. What the heck does that mean?! I have stumbled upon a new listing of repossessed cars for sale from UnionBank of the Philippines. Unlike my previous post, I am glad to be able to post the list of repossessed cars earlier this time around to give interested buyers enough time to inspect the cars and do their due diligence. The deadline for submission of bids is on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Actually, the bidding period for these Union bank repossessed cars for sale is from September 14-22, 2009.

Bid forms are available at Unionbank ARG, 20th floor, Unionbank Plaza, Meralco Avenue corner Onyx Street, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. These second hand foreclosed cars are available for inspection at the Unionbank Warehouse located at 185 Roosevelt Avenue, San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City (in front of Watch Tower).   For more details, you may call Babes through Tel# 638-0113 or 667-6388 loc. 8370.
