A mentor is someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person.<a href="http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/2011/09/are-you-looking-for-a-real-real-estate-mentor.html#footer_1">[1]</a> Having a mentor is very important when you are serious about real estate investing, or about learning any topic. You have to be careful though, and make sure that you get advice from a <em><strong>real </strong></em>mentor.<span id="more-7933"></span></p>
<p>My husband and I know the value of a good mentor.  We attend seminars conducted by experts who are well-respected in the real estate field and related fields in order to “sharpen our saws” since we are really serious in our real education. We also read a lot of books on real estate which we get from Booksale, Fully Booked, Powerbooks, and of course National Bookstore. This way, we are also being mentored, in a way, by experts from other countries. We even have our own Cashflow 101 and Cashflow for Kids boardgames, and almost all of the <a href="http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/richdadasia" style="" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" onmouseover="self.status='http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/richdadasia';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">Rich Dad</a> books! Yes, we are very nerdy! (Anybody else here who gets a high whenever they learn something new?).</p>
<p>My point is, investing in your education is investing in yourself, and nobody can take that away from you.  It is up to you to apply what you have learned in real life.</p>
<h2>A REAL real estate mentor</h2>
<p>Our real estate mentor is Engr. Enrico Cruz.  For those who don’t know, Engr. Cruz is a respected real estate educator with <strong><em>over 35 years</em></strong> of working experience in the Philippines, in the field of engineering, construction, real estate, and education.</p>
<p>He was the <strong>topnotcher of the 1994 Real Estate Appraiser Examination</strong>, and <strong>8<sup>th</sup> placer in the 1988 Real Estate Broker&#8217;s Examination</strong>. He is also one of the few<strong> licensed Real Estate Consultants</strong> and <strong>Real Estate Fellows</strong> in the Philippines.  He is also the <strong>President and CEO of Urban Institute of Real Estate and Construction</strong>, a respected provider of real estate education in the Philippines.</p>
<h2>Real Estate Investing Lecture Series</h2>
<p>Knowing how important mentoring is to the beginning real estate investor, we are glad to inform you that Engr. <p>Each session is <strong>stand-alone</strong>, and you may choose which topics you want to attend. The learning investment for each session is only P1,500.00 (basically only P375/hour). I remember that motivational speaker <strong>T. Harv Eker</strong> suggests that a person set aside 10% of his income for education, as part of his plan for financial freedom, and for me this fits the bill.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>It&#8217;s already 2011 and the upcoming Real Estate Brokers Exam on March 27, 2011 draws nearer. Relax, you still have time to review, and here are more CRESAR or REBSAT review centers as submitted by our dear readers and subscribers. These are in addition to my previous post:<em> <a title="2011 real estate brokers exam review centers" href="http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/2010/12/120-unit-comprehensive-real-estate-seminar-and-review-cresar-providers.html" target="_blank">List of 120-Hour Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar &amp; Review (CRESR or CRESAR) providers</a><span id="more-6624"></span><br />

<p><em>Note: I have not yet seen any official list of PRC accredited review centers for CRESAR&#8217;s or REBSAT&#8217;s. As far as I know, the PRBRES has not yet released any guidelines for the said seminars, except for the following information shared to me by Nestor Correa of SET-C. Nestor posted this on the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/foreclosurephilippines" target="_blank">Foreclosure Investing Philippines Facebook page</a>. Let me quote Nestor below.</em></p>
<p><em>&#8220;Hon. Rafael Fajardo of PRBRES gave us the go-ahead to make announcements about our CPE &amp; REBSAT last Dec. 16. He gave us a few guidelines and requested that we be guided by Sec.31 of RESA IRR. The Board resolution extending further the Conditional Authority to Operate for all previously DTI CEP/CRESAR providers is yet to be signed by all Board members. We at SET-C and Baguio Realtors Board (BRB)-Pareb Baguio expect them to come out with it by the first week of January 2011.&#8221; &#8211; Nestor Correa</em></p>
<p><em>Anyway, while waiting for an official announcement with regards to PRC list of accredited CRESAR Service Providers and/or guidelines, <a href="http://www.realestateseminarandreview.com/archives/prc-list-of-accredited-cresar-service-providers/" target="_blank">Real Estate Seminar and Review</a> has come up with some tips that would help one easily identify which CRESAR providers are legitimate.  <a href="http://www.realestateseminarandreview.com/archives/prc-list-of-accredited-cresar-service-providers/" target="_blank">Check it out</a>.</em></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">I am currently taking the Buy and Sell Mentoring Course of Engineer Cruz and I am thinking of taking this one step further through the Build and Sell course as I believe this is related to what I am doing right now, which is buying and renovating <a href="http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/foreclosedproperties" style="" target="_blank"  onmouseover="self.status='http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/foreclosedproperties';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">foreclosed properties</a>.</p>

<h2><em><strong>LECTURER&#8217;S   PROFILE</strong></em></h2>
<p><em><strong>ENGR.  ENRICO S.  CRUZ</strong> has more than 40 years of working experience in the  field of engineering, construction, real estate and  education. As a Civil  Engineer, he taught after graduation for five years in his alma mater,  Central  Colleges of the Philippines and at the same  time, he  manages his own construction company, Enrico Engineering and Management  Services.  He was the Vice-Dean for  Engineering for two years.</em></p>
<p><em>He placed 1st in the real estate  appraisal board  examination in 1994 and 8th in the real estate  broker’s board examination in  1988. He is also a licensed real estate consultant and  a real estate  fellow.</em></p>
<p><em>His past membership in real estate  organizations  includes the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders  Associations, Inc. (CREBA),  Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines (REBAP), where he was  past  president of the Marikina Chapter; Philippine Council of Real Estate  Educators  (PHILCORE) and Philippine Association of Realty  Appraisers (PARA).</em></p>
<p><em>At present, he is the President of  URBAN Institute  of Real Estate engaged in real estate education; United Realty Brokers and  Appraisers Network, engaged in realty brokerage, appraisal and consultancy. He  is also the former Chief Operating Officer of First Amson Realty  Development  Corp. that was involved in housing and land  development.</em></p>
<p><em>He is also the author of “Comprehensive Notes and Reviewer for  Real Estate Brokers” and “Mastering the Real  Estate Broker’s Exam” and  handouts/study materials for various real estate seminars.</em></p></blockquote>

</strong>a. Some attendees can get to play Cashflow 202. This is a more advanced GAME w/c contains stock options (puts and calls), network marketing, easier to bankrupt and harder to leave the rat race. Don&#8217;t<br />
know what I mean? That&#8217;s okay, play Cashflow 101 instead. 202 is designed for the &#8220;veteran player&#8221; and those who believe they have what it takes to become wealthy in a short short time.</p>

<p><strong>4. How to confirm my registration?</strong><br />
Just email thinkrichpinoyseminar@gmail.com with the scanned deposit slip or paypal acknowledgment receipt with following data: Name, Address, Email Address, Cell # and Landline # AFTER you have paid via paypal or bank deposit.</p>
<p><strong>5. Can we get a group discount?<br />
</strong>If there are five of you, you can avail of the early bird discount (P1975.-) even until the last day of payment (November 3).</p>
<p><strong>6. Other discounts?<br />
</strong>If you want to attend AGAIN, you can pay 50% of the fee (P 2450 * 50% = P 1225.00) &#8211; just P 1225.00 to attend again and play cashflow 202 or 101, perhaps to challenge yourself. But you must hurry because there are very limited slots for these.</p>
<p><strong>7. Maximum number of participants?<br />
</strong>We can only accommodate 120 participants per session.</p>
<p><strong>8. Is this a scam?</strong><br />
No. This is a financial education seminar and Cashflow game. The game uses play money. However, if your mindset is &#8220;scam&#8221; &#8211; unfortunately this is not the place to go &#8211; you won&#8217;t find any.</p>
<p>The goal of Think Rich Pinoy is to create wealth &#8211;using whatever legal means-though primarily through real estate &#8211; because that&#8217;s the safest way to go. You will not be required to buy property from Think Rich Pinoy people (at any given time we actually have only a handful available properties and we don&#8217;t get investors just because they have<br />
the money) -you go buy them from sellers out there in the world. We just enable you to start building your wealth.<br />
Real Estate Investing Wisdom is not taught in schools. That&#8217;s why we&#8217;re doing this. But the Think Rich Pinoy is NOT an end of learning,it&#8217;s a beginning -so please do not make the mistake of thinking you&#8217;ll become wealthy because of this one seminar.</p>
<p>You might get one idea that can propel you to become a millionaire, it happens quite a lot. You might get it from the people, the game, the seminar, who knows? The important thing is -you&#8217;re ready to accept that idea and run with it. That&#8217;s where Think Rich Pinoy comes in-we make you ready or at least we set you off to the path of becoming<br />
truly wealthy.</p>
<p><strong>9. Can i pay on the site (UN Avenue Venue)?</strong><br />
You may but there&#8217;s no guarantee of being able to play cashflow as the slots are very limited. Better to secure your seat via credit card (using paypal.com Buy your seminar ticket here!) or deposit to the bank. If you&#8217;re abroad, the best way is to open a free paypal.com account, connect your credit card to it&#8211;following it&#8217;s directions &#8211;so you can buy a ticket online. Connecting your credit card to a paypal account is not a quick thing to do-so I suggest you do so now-even if you&#8217;re planning to pay later.</p>

</strong>Go down at the UN Avenue LRT station, walk towards the Manila Bay with Manila Doctor&#8217;s Hospital on your right.<br />
The Philamlife Building is in front of the Manila Pavilion/Casino Filipino.<br />
Yes, it&#8217;s ironic but that&#8217;s where the Think Rich Pinoy event is held. Enter Philamlife entrance (not the casino).<br />
Just tell the guard &#8220;Think Rich Pinoy&#8221; and you&#8217;ll be pointed to a training room just beside the nice outdoor chapel in a garden is located &#8211; so it isn&#8217;t really ironic. Just fitting.</p>
<p>Toilets would be opposite the direction of the training room.</p>
<p><strong>Car</strong><br />
If you have a car, the parking is on the back of the building. You&#8217;ll have to take the other street parallel to UN Avenue, that&#8217;s Padre Faura (from Taft in the direction going to Robinson&#8217;s Place Mall Faura<br />
Wing) and turn right at M Orosa, so you can reach the Philam Parking (w/c would be to your right.)</p>

If you want an autographed copy of your Think Rich Pinoy books, bring them.Bring a camera and get a photo shoot with Larry Gamboa. Why? Because it works. Most successful people do that, why shouldn&#8217;t you?<br />
