    • Hi Allan, you’re welcome! We already sent the guidebook through LBC yesterday (we sent it directly to your wife), and they said it will be delivered anytime today, January 7, 2013. Would appreciate your feedback on the book, thanks!

  1. Thank you Jay,
It seems that I can’t reply with your original mail that was sent to me. Probably because I have a very slow connection from server as I am working onboard a ship.
Is there any other way to go throuh?

    • Hi Allan, just wanted to let you know I got your message with details through another comment (I won’t publish it to protect your privacy). Anyway, I’ll just send the prize directly to your wife so she does not have to present an authorization letter from you. We’ll send the guidebook later today. I’ll let you know the estimated date/time of arrival by LBC through another comment here after we send it. Congrats and thanks again for joining!

  10. Happy Christmas to you Jay and Cherry!

That’s an interesting contest you put there Jay! People are hyped about involving themselves in property investment. I, for one, would like to go back and learn the rudiments. I am bullish about 2013 and property investment would be the key to a profitable year. Of course, since this is a drastic forecast I am looking at, it is only fitting that a drastic action be done.

I look forward to talking to you again and bringing myself into this fantastic line of work.

More blessings to you and your family Jay and Cherry!

I would like to see a comprehensive (ala one-stop shop) discussion on taxes and other fees connected with buying, maintaining, and selling real estate properties in the Philippines. VAT, capital gains tax, real property tax, etc, etc, etc. Thanks! =P

  17. It would be very helpful to see a comprehensive, fool-proof way on checking the veracity of a title and some legal/practical stpes can be taken when one determines his/her land title has been illegally manipulated.

A comprehensive article on taxation of RE, like: properties with delinquent real estate taxes; taxes due when purchasing a property; taxes due when passing on a property to a child while still alive; local tax valuations as basis for real estate taxes; what to do when you lose a property when it is auctioned for delinquency; and more.

Also, it would be a plus if there are inspirational stories of real estate investors/brokers who experienced failures so that the reader may get something from their mistakes that they did and hopefully the aspiring readers can avoid it.
