Real Estate Investing

I was inspired to write this post after I watched “The Secret” for the nth time and remembered a question made through a comment on my post Foreclosure Investing Is Not Really Just About The Money, It’s About Financial Freedom! where I was asked “Is it really achievable that you will be financially free in [...]

In my last post, I mentioned about analyzing foreclosed properties to check if they are worth buying. Before doing a detailed analysis which can be too time consuming and overwhelming to some, one should at least do a quick analysis to shorten the list of prospect properties, especially with so many foreclosed properties available out [...]

I am featuring an e-mail I received through the mailing list of Larry Gamboa, author of the book “Think Rich Pinoy!”, with regards to two things I am very passionate about, Real Estate Investing and Internet Marketing. I’ll explain more about these in a bit but before that, I am reprinting the whole e-mail below [...]

At least that’s the way I look at it. My purpose for making money through foreclosed property investing is not really just about having lots of money or getting rich, its about having the freedom to do the things that are truly most important in life, without worrying about where to get money to provide [...]

As promised, I am sharing a sample Rent-To-Own contract specifically for use here in the Philippines. A Rent-To-Own contract is more correctly referred to as a Contract of Lease with Option to Purchase or CLOP.This is similar to lease option contracts used in other countries like the US.

Have you ever tried calling up a bank to inquire about a foreclosed property that interests you and you found yourself forgetting a lot of questions that you were supposed to ask? You then quickly say thanks and just hang up but when you finally compose yourself and remember what you wanted to ask, you [...]

If you are new to real estate investing, you may often encounter a lot of real estate acronyms when skimming through classified ads, while discussing with banks/brokers/other seasoned real estate professionals, or even while driving past a house that has a for sale sign.
