Hi Marissa, if you are already DTI licensed, checkout this post on how you can register at PRC: http://www.foreclosurephilippines.com/2011/05/how-to-file-your-application-for-registration-without-examination-at-the-prc.html

I am still confused with the 120 units. Where to get them and if there are any modules to follow?

Hi King,

Pero in your case, grabe pala, 30,000 government employees ang affected and yet up to now wala pang linaw yung 120 units... tsk, tsk. Kung 30,000 government employees would take the exam, and the seminar review required for examinees would cost around 17,500 pesos per head, that would mean a whopping 525,000,000 pesos need to be spent just for the exam. I just hope sagot the local government ang seminar fees.

Nandyan na ang IRR and it did not mention about the Local Assessment Operations Officer (LAOO) kahit lang konsiderasyon na sila ang frontliners in government service. So sad...even the BLGF would want that the LAOOs should take the exam. siguro meron ding ka agimat na fund raising/negosyo tong board exam na ito para makapera ang board. Imagine, more than 30,000 government employees will be taking the exam if they want to be promoted to the rank of municipal/city assessor. alam mo maliit lang ang sahod ng Local Assessment Operations Officer. paano na niya ma budget ang sweldo niya na meron ng dagdag gastos sa review at sa board exam? I hope the BLGF will think twice on this. Ours is service to the government- to raise revenues. it is not for our own profit. Sana I-postpone/defer ni P-noy ang implementation ng RESA Law. to give chance to next in rank employees in the office of the city/municipal assessor to be promoted.
